Brine No. 001

CryoBrine from Andromeda Prime

Sweet-Tangy — slight sweetness, high zest

Cool, refreshing, minty-spa tang.

Best For: Cucumbers (primary); also works with green beans, snap peas, or jicama.
Ideal Cucumber Shape: Thin rounds or ribbon strips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 6 fresh mint sprigs

Preparation

  1. Slice cucumbers into thin rounds or spiralized ribbons.
  2. Pack tightly into a sterilized jar with fresh mint sprigs layered throughout.
  3. Bring vinegar, coconut water, salt, sugar, and pepper to a simmer until salt dissolves.
  4. Let cool slightly, then pour brine over cucumbers to fully submerge.
  5. Seal and refrigerate.
Flavor Fusion Time: Wait 3 days in the fridge for peak refreshment. Keeps for up to 3 weeks.
