Brine No. 002

Warp Core Discharge Brine

Sour-Cooling — classic dill vibes, low heat

Tangy, spicy, electrical.

Best For: Cucumbers (primary); also try carrots or pearl onions.
Ideal Cucumber Shape: Halved spears.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup reused pickle juice
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp black garlic paste
  • 1 whole habanero

Preparation

  1. Halve cucumbers lengthwise into spears.
  2. Layer into jars with mustard seed and garlic.
  3. Simmer vinegar, reused pickle juice, water, salt, and sugar until dissolved.
  4. Cool slightly, pour over cucumbers.
  5. Seal and refrigerate.
Flavor Fusion Time: Best after 4 days in fridge. Keeps 3–4 weeks.
