SDUI Brine (Layered Manifest Pickle)
Warm, golden, structured — base acid, aromatic structure, bright finish.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Peppercorns
- Bay leaves
- Garlic
- Dill
- Lemon zest
- A whisper of turmeric
Preparation
- L0–L1 (base): Simmer water, white wine vinegar, salt, and sugar until dissolved. Cool.
- L2–L3 (structure): Add peppercorns, bay, and garlic to the jar.
- L4–L5 (the good stuff): Layer dill, lemon zest, and a whisper of turmeric.
- Pour the cooled base brine over the layered jar in order.
- Seal and refrigerate.
